The planning application describes the development as:
‘Mixed use development comprising the erection of up to 1,200 residential units, local centre, including provision of employment accommodation, non-denominational primary school, community facilities, open space and landscaping, and roads and associated infrastructure.’
The primary school however, is only to accommodate the children living in the new 1,200 homes. So if the homes aren’t built, the school is not needed.
